Visualizing Data with Vizhealth
Vizhealth
Vizhealth is a website designed to easily create visualizations of data based on user inputs or selected prompts. It is similar to other visualization tools, such as Google Slides/PowerPoint or Canva, in its simplistic design method, rather than Excel's complex function. In its current state at the time of examining the website, only the Risk Calculator and Icon Array Generator are working, so we will explore the usability and effectiveness of these tools.
Risk Calculator
The Risk Calculator is a simple input generator, after selecting a value, either a Yes or No, and a dropdown list for each category, from gender, age range, cholesterol level, medication for blood pressure, and pre-existing conditions such as diabetes. The Risk Calculator will compile the data provided to generate a visually appealing graph outlining potential health risks associated with the category of data input. As seen in the three figures provided below, I tested the input value to see where the placement of cardiovascular risk falls between varying categories. For Figure 1.1, it was the youngest males, aged 30-34, with the lowest levels of cholesterol or blood pressure and no other previous health deficiencies such as diabetes or smoking, producing the lowest risk. Altering the parameters in Figure 1.2 was to slightly increase the ranges, such as raising the age to 60-65, with slight increases in both cholesterol and blood pressure levels, with the inclusion of medication, but no other health risks, to see if I can get the graph to a medium portion of risk. And for Figure 1.3, I simply raised the data to the highest ranges of input to showcase its highest possible conclusion of risks.
Overall, it is a simple and effective visualization tool for measuring the individual levels of risk in developing cardiovascular diseases, and the recommendation is to consult with your doctor to prevent or minimize the risk in a well-formatted and easily readable chart.

Icon Array Generator
The Icon Array Generator is another simple tool in Vizhealth's selection of data visualization assets that enables the user to create Picographs or Waffle Charts by changing the images, colors, radius of the icons, and other features. I enjoyed the limited images you can use to display the data, from gender icons (male, female, and gender neutral) or a solid line to create a chart best suited for your data. I experimented with both a gender-neutral visualization of developing dementia in Figure 2.1 and how many voters in New Jersey will vote as Democrats or Republicans in 2028 in Figure 2.2

Conclusion
In conclusion, both tools provided by Vizhealth are simple yet effective in designing their respective graphs/charts in easy-to-follow prompts or straightforward inputs. If you are not as technologically savvy and need another alternative for visualizing data aside from Google Slides/PowerPoint, Excel, or Canva, I would recommend utilizing the Risk Calculator or Icon Array, depending on the data you are looking to represent.
